About

I am a philosopher specializing in the interplay between technology, ethics of artificial intelligence, moral responsibility, and free will.

My academic journey began with a PPE (politics, philosophy, and economics) undergraduate degree at Stellenbosch University. Drawn in by philosophy, I completed my honours and masters at the same institution.
 
In April 2020, I started my PhD journey at Bielefeld University, delving into the philosophical underpinnings of technology and its impact on society.

Since August 2023 I have been contributing as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh. 

I successfully defended my PhD in December 2023.
